Rainham’s 1st Team secured the Kent League Division 4 title this summer with two games left to play. Only two defeats all season (with the last one back in June) saw the side complete back to back title wins. Congratulations to captain Michael Tyrer and his team.

Congratulations to the Rainham Sunday 1stXI who clinched the Kent Village Cricket League (Three West) title on 7th September. One defeat all season saw Barry Griffith’s side finish two points clear of Penshurst Park. Well done to everyone who has appeared throughout the summer for the team.

The Rainham CC tea ladies were treated to their own “club tea” at the ground on Sunday, as a gesture of appreciation for all the hard work they’ve put in over the season. Well done to them all and to Heather McCue for organising the rota!

Rainham’s U15s side (mixture of U14 and U15 players) won the Medway Youth League U15 Cup on Sunday, beating High Halstow by 37 runs. Congratulations to the team and coaches Lee Stepney, Neil McCue and Darren Flegg.

Well done to the Rainham U11 Lions team who have won the Medway Youth Cricket League U11 Hardball League!! Lead by Jim Austin and James Humphrey, the team went through the season with a 100% record.
