The 2018 season starts up again on Saturday 28th April 2018 when Rainham II take on Downham at Berengrove Park. Note: the bar will be open to members on all Saturdays from midday onward.

A Rainham CC flag has now been proudly raised next to the new pavilion at Rainham CC. Thanks go to Glen Cook, Lol Goodwin and Andy Mortimore, who all contributed to the cost and were involved in installing the flagpole and flag.

Congratulations to Jamie Ward who has broken the club record individual score. In the Kent Village Cricket League game against Sturry on Sunday 18th Jun, Jamie hit an unbeaten 209, including 7 sixes and 30 fours, in Rainham’s 318 for 3 off 40 overs.  

Former England captain and current ECB ambassador Mike Gatting was the guest of honour as the club officially opened the long awaited new community pavilion. Rainham’s Under 11s missed out on cup glory in the Medway Youth League Cup Final, losing at The Mote in Maidstone to a strong Gravesend side by 19 runs. Jack Frost’s side put on a good all round performance and can be proud of their display.

The Under 15 side collected their Medway League winners medals at the annual Medway Youth League Presentation evening at Lordswood Sports Club on Friday 14th October. Their individual trophies were presented by former Kent and England bowler Amjad Khan.

Congratulations to captain Stuart Chipperfield and his 1st Team side who secured promotion from the Kent League Division V following a victory at Rodmersham, which left them runners up in the league behind champions Tonbridge.
