The Rainham CC tea ladies were treated to their own “club tea” at the ground on Sunday, as a gesture of appreciation for all the hard work they’ve put in over the season. Well done to them all and to Heather McCue for organising the rota!

Rainham’s U15s side (mixture of U14 and U15 players) won the Medway Youth League U15 Cup on Sunday, beating High Halstow by 37 runs. Congratulations to the team and coaches Lee Stepney, Neil McCue and Darren Flegg.

Well done to the Rainham U11 Lions team who have won the Medway Youth Cricket League U11 Hardball League!! Lead by Jim Austin and James Humphrey, the team went through the season with a 100% record.  

All Stars Cricket is the England and Wales Cricket Board’s entry level participation programme, aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket. Rainham’s 1st Team secured the Kent League Division 5 (Hurricane) title with a victory at Upchurch, remaining unbeaten in the last 10 games with one game remaining. Congratulations to captain Michael Tyrer and his team.

Rainham’s 3rd Team secured the Kent League Division 11 (Knott) title with a victory at Leeds & Broomfield, maintaining their 100% record for the season. Congratulations to Jon Newton and his team.

Rainham’s Under 13s completed an excellent league season by securing the Medway Youth League U13 title with a victory over Gravesend, maintaining their 100% record. Congratulations to Lee Stepney and Darren Flegg and all the players.
